Beef. its what’s for dinner 300, also known as Daytona 300, is the first race of the NASCAR Xfinity Series, held a day prior to the Daytona 500 at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.
The race is sponsored by the beef checkoff, a marketing program run by the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) to increase the demand for beef, and this is where it got its unique name.

It is a 300 miles (480 kilometers) race contested over 120 laps on the asphalt-based race circuit.
