Pala casino 400 is the second race of the NASCAR Cup series sponsored by Pala Casino Resort and Spa, a hotel and casino located in Pala, San Diego, California. 

Pala Casino 400 2023 is finally here, opening its gates on 26 February 2023 at Auto Club Speedway, a D-shaped race track located in Fontana, California.

What is Pala Casino 400?
The Pala Casino 400 is a 400-mile race contested over 200 laps on a 2 miles race track. The first race was held in 1997: before 2005, it was a 500-mile race and was contested in April or May.
 In 2005, some major changes were made in the NASCAR race format, and resultantly the race was rescheduled for February and reduced to 400 miles.

About the venue
The Auto Club Speedway is a race track inaugurated in 1997, which has been host to many popular racing events in the country, having a seating capacity of 122000 and a race track that is 2 miles (3.2 Km) in length.
